Flashback to 2019, I dove head-first into English Studies with the idea of becoming a teacher.

A couple of reasons:

1. Book nerd here - couldn’t you tell?

2. Language nerd too - German, Italian and Polish were part and parcel of the package. Danke, grazie mille, dziękuję!

3. Everyone told me a teacher’s job was the dream job - high-paying and stable career

Hum, yeah, sure 🙄

Here's the kicker though

I had never in my life faced a classroom full of 30 hormonal teenagers. And let me tell you. They’re scary.

(not as scary as the amount of fizzling copy out there, but still scary)

It could've worked out

But it didn't.

I needed a way out.

The light at the end of the tunnel?

Getting back to the basics.

Back to what made me happy.

Back to the reason I loved languages, books and research in the first place.

Back to writing.

So here I am, with a shiny new - happier - mindset helping brands find their voice and their inner silliness.
